I'm stuck in a loop and my site won't load - I need troubleshooting help!
Many times, when you're having trouble with your device there are a few basic steps we'll need you to try. By trying these steps first, we can eliminate the possibility that the issue is device or network related.
Here are the best troubleshooting steps to take first:
Step 1: Clear your cache
Clearing your cache is based on what browser you're using. To help clarify let's first define a few key words:
Cache: The memories your smart devices keep in order to quickly get you back to a page you've already visited.
Browser: The name of the button you use to search through the internet. (Example: Google Chrome, Safari (Apple & iOS), Microsoft Edge, Bing, Brave, etc...)
The best way to know is to do a Google search (or whatever browser you're using) and type in the following phrase:
"how to clear cache for _(enter your specific browser)_"
For example, if you're using Chrome, you'd type in: "how to clear cache on chrome"
Once you did that you'd follow the instructions for that browser.
NOTE: If this isn't an option you can jump straight to Step 2.
Step 2: Try on a private window
Using a private window means none of your movements on the internet are tracked by your computer. It means that there is no data stored in the cache and any bugs or glitches that may have been stored would be automatically deleted.
Getting to your browsers private window is going to be based on which browser you're using.
To figure this out, do a Google search (or whatever browser you're using) and type in the following phrase:
"how to use a private window with _(enter your specific browser)_"
For example, if you're using Chrome, you'd type in: "how to use a private window with chrome"
Once you did that you'd follow the instructions for that browser.
NOTE: If this isn't an option you can jump straight to Step 3.
Step 3: Try on a different device
If Steps 1 & 2 did not work or are not an option, please try using a different device altogether. It's best to try to use a device that hasn't already been to the page you're having trouble with.
If none of the steps above solve the issue, please reach out to support via a ticket.
